Graduation Catalgus (on)going, HKU Media, (2026)
These last few months, I had the opportunity to design the graduation catalogue of HKU Media 2026. For me, this was an amazing experience, working with many other students to realise this publication within a very short timeframe. We wanted to make (on)going a collection of the moments that shape a project. Instead of showing only the final results, we wanted to highlight the experiments and processes and by using only these in-between moments, the publication hopefully offers an honest portrait of this year’s graduates and the journey behind their work.

‘In deze fragmenten ontmoeten wij’ is a publication exploring my grandfather’s oeuvre, tracing its fragments to get to know him both as an artist and as a family member, while showing how an archive evolves beyond the maker’s lifetime.

Cookie Jar 2 (2025)
Cookie Jar is a pamphlet series of long-format arts writing produced by the Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant. It is free to read in all formats. The series is named after Warhol’s vast and weird collection of cookie jars, scoured from flea markets, thrift stores, and estate sales. Each volume of the series highlights various ways through which writing may yet encounter art.

Syntax and Semantics is an publication for the exhibition ‘AI have something to say’ at the Academy Gallery (AG) in Utrecht. The project explores the complexity of computer systems and the ‘magical’ facade of artificial intelligence through visual means.

During my exchange year at KASK in Ghent, I worked on the project ‘Marked Prints’, a series of prints inspired by the streetscape of the new city I was living in. We found that these browser tabs are somehow a unexpected part of your life, your state of mind and desires. The whole process of making this publication was made in a workshop of a few hours.

Rooted, Hair (2023)
A few spreads of Rooted, a magazine focusing on the subject of hair. As we explored the different dimensions of hair, we found it was not only a powerful tool to express yourself but it holds a diverse cultural and spiritual understanding.

Open day F.A.Q hand-out, HKU (2022)
During the open day of HKU we created a F.A.Q handout for the Graphic Design department. We wanted to create a publication that acted informative and playful.
Commissioned by the HKU Graphic Design deparment.
In collaboration with Cisca BakemaO Sobreiro Assobiando (The Whistling Cork Oak), (2024)
O Sobreiro Assobiando is a booklet about the cork oak tree. Translated from Portuguese as The Whistling Cork Oak, it refers to the tree’s lively soundscape, created by the many birds nesting in and around it. Every nine years, the tree produces cork, a renewable material widely used in Portugal. Beyond its ecological value and biodiversity, the Sobreiro holds deep cultural significance. It stands as an example of a harmonious relationship between human use of natural resources and the responsible preservation of ecosystems.
Open Day Poster Series (2023)
Series of informative posters for the open day Graphic Design Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU). We created a guide to help prospective students understand what to expect during their studies, covering all four years and including a dedicated FAQ poster, all presented in four A1 formats.

326 is a photography booklet about my household. Over several weeks, I set out to capture the comfort of feeling at home. About how you come to know someone through shared spaces, trust, smiles and vulnerability. It reflects the peace of belonging and the freedom to truly be yourself.
Interview of William JR Curtis with Fernando Tavora (2022)
Fernando Távora was a Portuguese architect, known for rethinking how Porto’s historical landscape could serve a modern population by reinterpreting the cityscape. This riso printed leperello was experimental, resulting in various typographical outcomes, as I explored his architectural work through typography.
